More Space Needed
As more boys joined and the curriculum expanded to include computer literacy, public speaking, swimming, and woodworking, more space was needed.
The founders and Yann (Director) discovered a dilapidated single-level home in the barrio Callejón de la Loma. With the help of Amistad CASIRA, generous donors, and dedicated volunteers from around the world, they transformed the space into a beacon of opportunity.

How It All Started
Two guys from different parts of the world—Adam from Florida, USA, Stefan from Hoogkarspel, Netherlands—met in Cabarete and became friends. Seeing a lack of guidance, too much idle time, and few opportunities for local boys, Adam pitched an idea: to create a space where boys could learn, grow, and build a better future.
What began as a small initiative—teaching English, playing sports, and cleaning the beach—quickly grew. A group of nine boys became 12, then 20, then 50. Today, InspireDR serves 81 boys, helping them develop life skills, confidence, opportunities for a brighter future.
